This is why I’ve updated a comparizon used by Gabriele Piccoli in Information Systems for Managers: Text and Cases p. 20, fig. 1.12 to reflect actual evolution, and past revolution; you can find it below.
It is a 30 years comparizon of IT based on Apple products (it speaks to students) between the Apple IIe (may need some minor correction), Imac G4 20″, and Iphone 5s, this help to understand the omnipresence and omnipotence of IT in our everyday life and allow a discussion on implications for future managers.
